- Ensure all user accounts are password protected
- Create a second windows user account
- Enable Remote desktop services on the computer
- Add all the user accounts to remote desktop users (right click This PC then, click Remote settings in the left navigation, ensure allow remote connections to the computer is selected, click select users and add the users then press ok)
- Once finished, launch the RDPConf.exe file
- There should be 4 things that appear in green.
Service state: Running
Listener state: Listening and [Fully supported]
if any of the above in green is RED then the ini file will need to be updated. See the long version of this guide all the way to the end for an updated .ini file (april 17, 2020) located c:\Program Files\RDP Wrapper\rdpwrsp.ini and replace whats in it with this file
Once all is green you can then launch the RDPChecker.exe file and click Connect and login into a second account. if all works you should be connected and you are now running a multi-RDP session on your Windows computer.
You will need to enable port 3389 on your firewall and forward the port to the IP address of the computer we just configured. Ensure this computer has a static ip address.
