how do I fix Microsoft Windows XP activation loop?

If you have ever experienced the issue of Microsoft Windows XP unable to log in due to an annoying activation screen that just won't go away when you click "No" and if you click "Yes" it will not activate because Microsoft no longer supports the activation since April 2014 or thereabout. Here is a solution for getting back into Windows and resolve the issue after. Please note before reading this entire document, I am only providing the solution to get back into the computer, however, you activate it after that is up to you. Use this guide at your own risk. This worked for me.

Step 1: Keep hitting the Function 8 key (F8) until you are presented with options for booting Microsoft Windows to "Safe Mode with Command Prompt" then hit enter

Step2: When you are finally presented with the command line enter this command excluding the double quotes "explorer.exe" then hit enter. You will be prompted with a dialog stating that windows is running in safe mode .. etc select "Yes".

Step 3: Once you see the Windows Start button on your keyboard press the windows key and R to start the run dialog box and enter "rundll32.exe syssetup,SetupOobeBnk" without the double quotes and press ok. (note: one space, after "rundll32.exe " also the Oo are two letter o's in "oobe"; capitals and comma are important)

Step 4: Reboot your computer. You will now be able to access your computer normally and reactivate windows or whatever you choose to do at this point.

Hope this guide helps someone, I know it did for me.
